I've been kind of AWOL lately (what else is new?) So, in no particular order, ( some life updates: )

So hello to my new friends from that friending meme I posted yesterday. I have to admit I've never done one of those before, so ( I'm completely new at this... )

In other news--I'm heading off to a conference for a few days, where I will be giving a talk on my thesis research. I should probably practice my talk a few times before then. And pack. I might want to pack for this.
